To identify the factors related to nursing students' professional commitment. Such research can assist in identifying strategies that be used cultivate and strengthen commitment among students, which ultimately help address shortages improve overall quality of care. A systematic review using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). PubMed, EMBASE, MEDLINE, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, Web Science were searched English-language articles from inception July 1, 2024.Studies systematically screened inclusion based on predetermined eligibility criteria. The studies assessed Non-Randomized Studies (RoBANS), JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist, Newcastle–Ottawa Scale (NOS), Mixed-Method Tool (MMAT), data analyzed thematic analysis. synthesis was performed descriptive themes across all included studies. process involved intensive reading literature, followed by extraction qualitative data, organized into topically similar codes. Researchers collaborated merge codes subthemes, then consolidated main final report. total 1,165 identified search, 16 met Three key emerged synthesis: individual (age, gender, region, psychological well-being, motivation, self-efficacy, career choice perception), educational (educator impact, academic achievement, clinical experience learning environment) family social (family influence, influence others perception).Key findings indicate age, region significantly impact commitment, with female students displaying greater growth post-internship. Psychological well-being is a crucial factor, perceived stress adversely affecting levels. Motivation, pre-internship are pivotal fostering long-term engagement profession. Additionally, involuntary choices correlate lower highlighting importance informed decision-making. Educators play vital role, as supportive teaching practices enhance student Academic achievement experiences further dedication.
