Purpose: This study investigated the mediating effect of grit in relationship between silence behavior and medication safety competence among nurses.Methods: The included 166 nurses from four university hospitals general Seoul Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Data were collected March 1 to 10, 2024, using self-report questionnaires. analyzed t-test, analysis variance, Scheffé’s test, Pearson’s correlation coefficients with IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 23.0 (IBM Corp.). This study aimed to assess the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior and nurses' silence. A descriptive cross-sectional online was conducted in October 2023, targeting 402 nurses working Yichang Central People's Hospital, Hubei Province, China. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire comprising demographic details, Compulsory Citizenship Behavior Scale, Nurses' Silence Scale. Statistical analyses using SPSS 25.0, including statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, hierarchical regression analyses. The revealed that overall mean score for 14.63 (3.99), while silence 32.78 (8.28). Significant differences scores observed among with varying levels of work experience (P < 0.05).
