Liver cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers worldwide. The first-line therapeutic drug sorafenib offers only a moderate improvement in patients' conditions. Therefore, an approach to enhancing its efficacy urgently needed. It has been revealed that hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells with heightened intracellular quiescin sulfhydryl oxidase 1 (QSOX1) exhibit increased sensitivity sorafenib. QSOX1 secreted disulfide catalyst, and it widely recognized extracellular promotes growth, invasion, metastasis through participation establishment matrix. Inhibiting secretion can increase decrease QSOX1. Such would sensitize HCC but remains be established. Since (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) demonstrated effective inhibitor α-fetal protein from cells, we screened inhibition using polyphenolic compounds. We examined eight dietary polyphenols (EGCG, quercetin, fisetin, myricetin, caffeic acid, chlorogenic resveratrol, theaflavin) found EGCG quercetin effectively inhibited human (HepG2 or Huh7), resulting high low combination both which change cellular distribution QSOX1, sorafenib, no influence on exhibited multiple synergistic effects against including induction apoptosis invasion metastasis. In conclusion, our current results suggest have potential developed as adjuvants treatment by modulating
