Abstract Nigeria remains a major contributor to the global malaria morbidity and mortality counts, with devastating record of 200000 deaths in 2023. The introduction vaccine into routine immunisation schedule is therefore significant effort fight against disease. This commentary examines lessons from similar rollout processes other countries recommends how this insight can contribute success Nigerian setting. Malaria Vaccine Implementation Programme (MVIP) Ghana, Kenya, Malawi highlights need continually engage community leaders stakeholders foster public acceptance vaccine. Also, health workers must be trained rendered supportive supervision help them handle difficulties deciding flexibility dosing schedule. To avoid low uptake 4th dose, effective communication caregivers adjusting national context are key. also utilised synergy control strategies not as single super tool. In Cameroon, which was first country introduce outside MVIP, outreach vaccination sessions were very instrumental reaching people ensuring wide coverage.
