Introduction The Sexual Violence Relief center Soccorso Violenza Sessuale (SVS) is a specialist service, situated in Sant’Anna Hospital, an Obstetrics and Gynecology facility Turin, North-West Italy. study aimed to qualitatively analyze the transcripts of interviews routinely conducted by gynecologist midwife first part medical examination migrant patients accessing care at SVS after being subjected conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) their home country or during migration explore adverse outcomes such on health. Conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) is a form of gender-based and violation human rights. Abstract Background: This study assesses the operational challenges and clinical outcomes encountered by a university-based Emergency Medical Team (EMT) during medical search rescue (mSAR) response to February 2023 earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey. Methods: In this observational study, data were retrospectively collected from 42 individuals who received mSAR services post-earthquake. The categorized as environmental, logistical, or medical, with detailed documentation of times, patient demographics, injury types, interventions. Results: patients 30 operations analyzed divided into environmental (26.2%), logistical (52.4%), (21.4%) challenge groups. Median times 29 (IQR 28–30), 36.5 33.75–77.75), 30.5 29.5–35.5) hours for each group, respectively (P = .002). Age distribution did not significantly differ across groups .067). Hypothermia affected 18.2%, 45.5%, 66.7% respective Extremity injuries most common group (88.9%). Intravenous access was highest (88.9%), while splinting more frequent (55.6%) (18.2%) prevalent (66.7%), followed (45.5%). As a vulnerable population, immigrants can be disproportionately affected by disasters. Because of their legal and migratory status, may have different challenges, needs, possibilities when facing disaster. Yet, within disaster studies, are rarely studied alone. Instead, they often considered part the large heterogeneous group racial ethnic minorities in United States. Examining coping strategies and resilience among immigrant communities reflects a commitment to working with understand their needs while also identifying building upon strengths. In the United States, physical, emotional, economic impacts of COVID-19 pandemic intersected existing structural inequities produce distinct challenges stressors related pandemic, immigration, caregiving responsibilities, xenophobia. Leveraging an understanding multilevel effects stress, this qualitative study explores individual, interpersonal, community-level women used respond to, alleviate, or reduce distress these compounding stressors. Using semi-structured in-depth interviews conducted in 2020 2021 44 first- second-generation cisgender from different national origins 19 direct service providers serving New York City, data were coded analyzed using constant comparative approach. Four central themes identified: as source strength, leveraging resources, social connections, community support. This paper explores the firsthand experiences of immigrant women victims domestic violence amidst COVID-19 crisis.Sixteen Iranian and Afghan residing in Sweden were interviewed.Their responses analyzed using qualitative content analysis.An intersectional perspective was used to understand among women.The study found high levels psychological controlling behavior by women's partners.The harm compounded economic instability, temporality residency permits, limited access support services.The analysis suggests that multiple factors midst pandemic increase vulnerability abused lead further marginalization.

Dünyanın hemen her yerinde farklı türden afetler meydana gelmekte ve afetlerin yarattığı güçlüklerle karşı karşıya kalınmaktadır. Çoğu zaman beklenmedik bir anda gerçekleşen afetler, fiziksel, sosyal, ekonomik psikolojik açıdan ciddi sonuçlar doğurabilme potansiyeline sahiptir. Son yıllarda, görülme sıklığı, şiddeti süresinin artmasına koşut olarak ortaya çıkardığı zarar kayıplar da artmaktadır. Afetler toplumun tüm kesimlerini derinden etkilemekle birlikte, çocuklar, yaşlılar, kadınlar, engelliler gibi kırılgan gruplar üzerinde çok daha ağır etkiler yaratmaktadır. Afetlerin başta olmak üzere tümü açısından yıkıcı etkilerinin en aza indirilmesi hayati önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın amacı güçlükleri sorgulamak söz konusu üzerindeki olumsuz azaltılmasına yönelik çözüm önerileri sunmaya çalışmaktır. Çalışmada literatür taraması yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, afet durumlarında toplumdaki bireylerin kırılganlık düzeyine başa çıkabilme kapasitesine sahip olabildiğinin dikkate alınması gruplara özgü yönetim stratejilerinin geliştirilmesi uygulanmasının, hem bu grupların afetlerden görebileceği zararın indirilmesi, de afetlere dirençli kılınması için elzem olduğu açıkça görülmektedir.
