Neuropathic pain (NP) is an ineffectively treated, debilitating chronic disorder that associated with maladaptive changes in the central nervous system, particularly spinal cord. Murine models of NP looking at mechanisms underlying these suggest important role microglia, resident immune cells various stages disease progression.
