Abstract Social service systems are uniquely positioned to implement health prevention and intervention protocols given their mission support vulnerable populations in the communities where they live. However, social organizations deliver complex services, with scarce resources, under significant external pressure from communities, funders, regulatory bodies. This requires careful consideration designing dissemination implementation (D&I) strategies. While several well-developed, blended strategies being used all require additional documentation, research, refinement. Nonetheless, lessons learned services may help other better interventions consumers needs.

Abstract Background Non-pharmacological dementia research products, such as social and behavioural interventions, are generated in traditional university settings. These often experience challenges to impact practices that they were developed for. The Netherlands established five specialized academic health science centres, referred Alzheimer Centres, structurally coordinate facilitate the utilization of knowledge. This study leverages implementation systematically explore strategies used by researchers from each Centre, on basis “knowledge-to-action” (KTA) framework includes knowledge creation, adaptation, dissemination implementation. Methods Individual semi-structured qualitative interviews conducted with 29 respondents across Centres Netherlands. Participants selected through purposive (snowball) sampling. Interviews in-person virtually Microsoft Teams, all audio-recorded transcribed verbatim. Data analysis was guided dimensions KTA framework. Result There a high variation bring non-pharmacological into practice. Selected Centre influenced typology products produced Centres’ organizational heritage. creation adaptation phases mainly facilitated funders’ guidance towards product co-creation patients implementing organizations. Dissemination utilizing support university-based technology transfer offices valorization establishing strategically leveraging formal infrastructure, public–private partnerships professional collaborative networks. Conclusions Successful requires evolving researcher competencies meet environmental demands facilitating end-users partners. Understanding external determinants influencing Dutch ecosystem is crucial for capacity-building aligning cross-sector agendas. appears reveal intricacies utilization, guiding future studies employed various contexts.

Informal caregivers of people with dementia (PwD) living at home are often the primary source care, and, in their role, they experience loss quality life. Implementation science knowledge is needed to optimize real-world outcomes evidence-based interventions (EBIs) for informal caregivers. This scoping review aims systematically synthesize literature that reports implementation strategies employed deliver home- and community-based EBIs PwD, outcomes, barriers facilitators these EBIs.Embase, MEDLINE, Web Science, Cochrane Library were searched from inception March 2021; included studies focused on "implementation science," "home- interventions," "informal dementia." Background The field of Implementation science (IS) continues to evolve, and the number type IS capacity building Programs (ISCBPs) are in flux. These changes push revisit accepted competencies guide sustainment ISCBPs. Our objectives were: (1) compare characteristics current ISCBPs; (2) identify recommendations support ISCBP sustainment; (3) measure how often ISCBPs address competencies; (4) novel important for field. Method This multi-method study included delivering structured, longitudinal training, excluding single courses brief workshops. We used three complementary methods meet our objectives. First, we identified via an internet search snowball sampling methods. Second, surveyed these areas program focus, types trainees, addressed, sustain Third, conducted a modified Delphi process with researchers/leaders reach consensus on that were both as compared published date. Results Among 74 eligible identified, 46 responded (62% response rate). Respondent represented diverse focus (e.g., global health, cardiopulmonary disease) trainee stages graduate students, mid-career faculty).
