Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and mixed reality (MR) into orthopedic education has transformed learning. This review examines AI-powered platforms like Microsoft HoloLens, Apple Vision Pro, HTC Vive which enhance anatomical visualization, surgical simulation, clinical decision-making. These technologies improve the spatial understanding of musculoskeletal structures, refine procedural skills with haptic feedback, personalize learning through AI-driven adaptive algorithms. Generative AI tools ChatGPT further support knowledge retention provide evidence-based insights on topics. AI-enabled generative help address challenges in standardizing education. However, we still face many barriers that relate to data, algorithm evaluation, ethics, curriculum. is used preoperative planning predictive analytics postoperative period bridges theory practice. MR are key supporting innovation scalability technological relies collaborative partnerships develop equitable, evidence-informed practices can be implemented For sustained impact, must aligned pedagogical theories principles.
