Aster tataricus L.f. ( A.tataricus ), a perennial herb of the genus in Asteraceae (Compositae) family. It is associated with spicy, bitter, and warm nature belongs to Lung Meridian. The medicinal parts are flowers, leaves, roots, rhizomes. was first recorded Shuo Wen under alias “Zi Wan” (茈菀).
