Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlations PROCESS macro for mediation analyses bootstrapping. Results had a significant negative effect on ( β −0.11, p < 0.05) total −0.28 0.001). [ −0.12, 95% CI (−0.18, −0.06)] −0.03, (−0.06, −0.01)] independently mediated relationship, while through both variables also found −0.02, (−0.03, −0.01)], all indirect accounting 59.68% effect. Discussion These findings extend previous research by identifying psychological mechanisms which protects against addiction, providing new theoretical insights into sequential pathway from reduced practical implications developing targeted interventions that combine promotion strategies reduce students.
