Degenerative joint disease is a condition that affects joints and commonly referred to as osteoarthritis (OA).This form of arthritis most prevalent among women tends become more frequent people age.The pathogenesis OA involves an imbalance cytokines in favor pro-inflammatory cytokines. However, the steroid hormone dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) exerts chondroprotective effects regulates balance catabolic factors such thrombospondin motif disintegrin metalloproteinase (ADAMTS), thereby playing role against OA.Pro-inflammatory induce aggrecanases, ADAMTS5, which degrade extracellular matrix contribute OA.The molecule nerve growth factor (NGF), associated with pain OA, important for cartilage homeostasis, DHEA can modulate by interfering NGF receptors. This review covers roles DHEA, their relationship pathways, use current treatments. We also anticipate these pathways will be crucial developing new strategies prevent treat understanding interactions may make it possible enhanced quality life patients OA.

Current treatment modalities for postinflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) often fall short in delivering satisfactory results some patients. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the efficacy and tolerability of autologous cell‐free fat extract (CEFFE) PIH. We enrolled 15 patients with PIH administered them five intracutaneous CEFFE injections, each at a two‐week interval. Evaluation included assessment using objective (standard two‐dimensional photos, VISIA®‐photos, brown spot (BS) index, lesion lightness, color, trans‐epidermal water loss) subjective (Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale Likert satisfaction scale) parameters tolerance assessment. Following treatment, significant reductions were observed BS index ( p < 0.05) transepidermal loss 0.05), while skin lightness color showed improvements 12‐month follow‐up. Subjectively, 93.33% reported improved or greatly conditions after 12 months treatment. Transient local bruising stinging only treatment‐related adverse events, no serious complications reported. These findings demonstrate that intradermal injections are well‐tolerated effective This trial is registered ChiCTR2000039381 .

Abstract Osteoclasts are cells primarily involved in bone remodeling. Hyperactive osteoclastogenesis leads to pathological loss and microarchitectural deterioration. However, given the limitations of current osteoclast inhibitors, there is an urgent need for a novel antiresorptive agent with higher efficiency fewer side effects. Cell‐free fat extract (CEFFE) liquid fraction obtained from adipose tissues, which enriched variety adipokines. This study aims explore its pharmacologic effect on hyperactive osteoclastogenesis. CEFFE exhibits excellent potentials attenuate osteoclast‐associated ovariectomy mice inhibit primary monocytes. Furthermore, cationic protein (CEFFE‐Cation) identified as main inhibitory component formation assay. According chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis, CEFFE‐Cation mainly consists various antioxidant enzymes cytokines, endow it superior capacity. Meanwhile, also capable mitigating Ca 2+ oscillation subsequent nuclear factor activated T‐cells 1 translocation during Overall, this elucidates promising translational potential next‐generation personalized osteolytic disease treatment.
