Post-traumatic stress disorder is a mental that closely associated with dysfunction of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, and for its development required experience traumatic event causes negative emotions memories persist quite long time. The likelihood post-traumatic influenced both environmental factors, genetic epigenetic characteristics body. In this case modifications act as dynamic biomarkers (“nanotags”) impact environment on genome (epigenome), which can, under certain conditions, disappear or remain not only in an individual directly exposed to psychogenic trauma, but also transmitted over number generations. Review focuses possible mechanisms intergenerational transgenerational inheritance biological effects stress-related disorders.

Abstract Background: There is increasing evidence that the immune system associated with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, causal relationship between cells and PTSD possible related types of are still unclear. Aim: To determine PTSD. Two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis was then performed. Materials Methods: The exposure outcome data used in this study were obtained from a GWAS (https://gwas.mrcieu.ac.uk/). MR performed to assess relationships 731 cell features We for as outcome. Our uses variety methods ensure robustness experiment. For each may be PTSD, we adopted sufficient number accuracy effectiveness results. Results: identified potential various 10 potentially causally linked CD33-related most prominently cells. Conclusions: determined via MR, which can provide help future clinical practice.
