Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 (DM 2) merupakan penyakit kronis dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat di Indonesia dan global. Komplikasi DM tipe memberikan dampak serius bagi kualitas hidup penderita. Adanya peningkatan jumlah komplikasi pada pasien RSUD Selasih Kabupaten Pelalawan menjadi permasalahan penelitian ini. Tujuan adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor risiko berhubungan Pelalawan.. Desain digunakan kasus kontrol sampel 400 (200 200 kontrol). Kasus komplikasi, sedangkan tanpa komplikasi. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode systematic random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui rekam medis Tahun 2023. Analisis data dilakukan uji chi-square regresi logistik ganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kolesterol tinggi (OR=206,46), lama menderita (OR=79,62), tekanan darah (OR=22,54), ketidakrutinan (OR=4,43) secara signifikan 2. ABSTRACT Aim Evaluate the area‐level incidence of kidney failure due to diabetes among Australians aged ≤ 45 years. Methods Using Australian registry and census data (2000–2022), rates prevalence (defined as commencing replacement therapy) people years were compared by geographical region. Results Incidence (per 100 000/year, 95% confidence interval) in Australia was 0.72 (0.68–0.77) 2000–2011, 1.13 (1.07–1.18) 2012–2022 (incidence rate ratio [IRR] 1.56, 1.50–1.62). Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels resulting from insulin deficiency or resistance. Streptozotocin, potent diabetogenic agent, commonly employed to induce experimental diabetes selectively damaging pancreatic beta cells, in and hyperglycemia. Elevated Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, indicative of oxidative stress lipid peroxidation, are closely linked diabetic complications. This study aimed investigate the association between MDA Streptozotocin-induced rat diabetes, shedding light on potential therapeutic strategies. Diabetes mellitus (DM) remains a significant global health challenge, contributing to high morbidity and mortality rates. In Indonesia, type 2 diabetes is increasing, with substantial percentage of patients experiencing poor glycemic control. This study aims explore the relationship between serum procalcitonin levels fasting blood glucose (FBG) in diabetes, assessing procalcitonin's potential as biomarker for complications. A total 122 confirmed were included, excluding those infection or recent trauma. Clinical parameters, including pressures, body mass index (BMI), samples FBG levels, collected. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 26.0. The mean age participants 56.7 years, 43.4% diagnosed hypertension. correlation found (<i>p</i> = 0.024, r 0.205), indicating weak positive relationship. No differences observed hypertensive non-hypertensive patients. findings suggest that may serve useful managing complications associated diabetes. While weak, role inflammation progression highlights need further investigation. Integrating testing into clinical practice could enhance patient management, future research should mechanisms linking complications, well establish reference values diabetic populations.
