Background: Thailand has a substantial elderly population, around one-sixth of its total populace, and ranks second among ASEAN countries. Remarkably, is the first developing nation to transition into fully-fledged "Aged Society". This study aimed assess quality life (QoL) aging in explore demographic factors that affect it. Methods: The QoL data 15,600 adults aged 60 years over were obtained from Regional Health (RH), Ministry Public Health, Thailand. WHOQOL-BREF instrument Thai was used QoL. Outcome measures included WHOQOL-BREF's four domains (physical health, psychological, social relationships, environmental scores. Cronbach’s coefficient assessed reliability questionnaire. relationships between gender-age group, years, RHs investigated using multiple regression. overall questionnaire 0.94 Cronbach`s alpha 0.67, 0.81, 0.72, 0.87, respectively. Results: scores different groups, significantly differed domains. younger age for both sexes scored highest physical, but not youngest females relationships. Recent theoretical suggested duration might explain why be beneficial for but destructive others. Specifically, short-term result increased attempts to regain social connection therefore serve an adaptive function, whereas long-term maladaptive outcomes. With this review, we highlight double-edged sword – is, its function versus consequences summarize different ways which previous attempted phenomenon. Moreover, aim pinpoint inconsistencies conceptualization measurement work, offer considerations future research move field forward.

There no restrictions publication date, language, or study setting. Studies that solely focused isolation with children (<16 years) excluded. Risk bias was assessed Critical Appraisal Skills Programme. After deduplication, total 7866 records identified screened inclusion, 24 published between 2002 2022. The included represent data 728 participants 15 across West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Niger, Mali), East (Uganda, Kenya), North (Egypt), Asia (Iran), South (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) Southeast (Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines). Data analysed combining inductive deductive coding, summarised narrative synthesis, examined by geographical region. Common features rejection, overthinking, pain. related depression regions. Mobile health care (mHealth) apps are emerging worldwide as a vital component of internet care, but there issues, especially among older adults. We aim to investigate the factors influencing intention use (ITU) mHealth apps, focusing on those with and without prior experience. A cross-sectional study conducted from August 2022 July 2023 included Thai citizens aged 45 years or older. Self-reported questionnaires collected data sociodemographic information, conditions, smartphone tablet ownership, usage The Senior Technology Acceptance Model 10-point Likert scale evaluated acceptance. multivariable logistic regression analysis, adjusted for age, gender, education, income, living area, was performed 2 subgroups: who used ITU did not. Of 1100 participants, 537 (48.8%) intended while 563 (51.2%) group had younger average higher education levels, fewer underlying diseases compared not intend apps.
