Abstract Aim We tested the utility of showing “selfie” videos to increase adolescents’ climate change hope, agency, and behavioral intentions, decrease their anxiety. Methods conducted a randomized controlled trial among healthy volunteers, ages 14 18, enrolled through crowdsourcing platform. randomly assigned participants (N = 1039) view one three 110-s-long video interventions featuring same adolescent protagonist: positive (depicting an action-oriented stance); negative (defeatist control (neutral stance unrelated content). The primary outcome was hope; secondary outcomes were anxiety, intention scales, 100-point sliders about hopefulness agency. Results Viewing proved effective adolescents in increasing sense agency regarding (< 0.001), but not decreasing anxiety or intentions engage pro-environmental behaviors. Conclusion Brief video-based protagonists showed potential hope change. While this single exposure did directly affect levels future research should examine whether repeated different "doses" such might influence these outcomes. ubiquity reach social media hold promise scale inexpensive specifically tailored interventions.

Employing an exploratory sequential mixed‐methods approach that integrates both qualitative quantitative techniques, initially conducted 20 in‐depth interviews to gain insights into interplay change‐related factors, trust, consumer behaviors, which helped formulate research framework. Subsequently, was utilized, gathering 681 online surveys from Vietnamese Italian consumers, data assessed through structural equation modeling using SmartPLS software. is first reveal crucial theoretical how anxiety affected by risk perception knowledge, impact behaviors: quality environment, generations. These effects are positively moderated connectedness, providing profound understanding behavior two regions within amid urgent global crisis. This exploratory study investigates the relationship between climate change anxiety and self-efficacy in teaching education among Omani pre-service science teachers (PSSTs). Using a custom-designed questionnaire adapted from established scales, researchers collected data on levels across four domains (reported anxiety, stress levels, cognitive impacts, physiological impacts) to teach education. The survey was administered group of PSSTs, responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics correlation analysis. Results show all participating PSSTs experienced some level anxiety. A statistically significant, moderate negative found PSSTs' Higher associated with lower self-efficacy. No significant differences based gender or specialization. Building these findings, we discuss implications for teacher academics, curriculum developers, researchers, policymakers, others interested We argue range future initiatives initial that take into account.

We collected cross-sectional data from employees working Pakistan used 376 usable samples to conclude results. Findings Using structural equation model (SEM), study’s results exert positive impact practices, i.e. hiring (GH), training development (GTD) discipline (GDM), on self-efficacy (GSE) involvement (GI). Also, study demonstrates GSE creativity (GC) GPM. Further, GI substantial predictor GPM but not GC, which positively significantly affects Practical implications The offers new insights provides guidelines for policymakers hotel authorities understand leverage industry. As premature replacement of residential appliances drives rising e-waste levels in Europe, analysis the factors impacting consumer decision-making when faced with opportunities to extend (repair) or reduce appliance lifespans (premature replacement) is needed. This manuscript seeks explore impact environmental and financial literacy on willingness seek repair home (over across owner-occupier rental properties. The salience within informational frames these decisions also explored. An online discrete choice experiment was conducted using EVIDENT serious game, a life-simulation game which players manage virtual face energy decisions. Participants (n = 1056) completed series 3 experiments exploring repair/replace pay for repair. Prior measures literacy, household type, sociodemographic were obtained pre-game survey. For properties, further stated preference determine incentives invest more efficient both landlords tenants.
