This study explores the impact of STEM integration on student performance in Madrasah (school) Science Competition (KSM), focusing how STEM-based learning enhances academic achievement. The growing importance education globally emphasizes its potential to improve students' scientific knowledge and critical thinking. Integrating education, mainly through science competitions like challenges students apply theoretical practical, real-world contexts. Despite increasing interest researchers have yet fully understand specific KSM, particularly within context Islamic schools. Here, we examine affects achievement KSM. research employs a qualitative approach, using thematic analysis analyze open-ended questioning with who participated results reveal that KSM resulted (a) inquiry problem-solving, hands-on experimentation, application, (b) use technology tools, resource disparities, (c) increased engagement STEM, confidence (d) limited access resources, (e) collaborative projects, team dynamics support, (f) enhanced understanding, development thinking skills, (g) improved outcomes, careers. implications suggest incorporating into curricula can enhance foster skills. Future could explore long-term broader educational outcomes investigate ways scale practices across institutions.
