Investigating students’ attendance in face-to-face, online, and blended teaching of the Japanese language DOI Open Access

This study aims to compare which mode of teaching delivery has the highest attendance rate among face-to-face, Emergency Remote Teaching, hybrid, and online-only courses using two different British universities between 2017 2022 for a five-year duration. Two types investigations were undertaken both universities, but not necessarily simultaneously every year. The data collection comprised components, register students’ Module Evaluation Questionnaire comments. Mixed methods used. total participants this 316 students who studied Japanese language, majority whom 18 21 years old. Their results show that order high was followed by face-to-face , online teaching, hybrid . In the post-pandemic era, characterized by rapid digital transformation, teaching and evaluation methods must evolve to meet new reality, as students educators continue express concerns about fairness integrity. The objective of this cross-sectional study was evaluate perceptions teachers on introduction remote assessments in context evolving higher education landscape, which significantly disrupted 2020 pandemic, but leaving approaches that are still used. Data collection comprised a sample 989 266 teachers. results demonstrated current preference for face-to-face assessments, were considered fairer more equitable, with less dishonesty, stress, time consumption. Dishonesty main concern related both Remote undervalued, likely due adaptation did not allow enough proper models be developed. The current study attempts to investigate perceptions of EFL learners towards faceto-face vs. online learning focusing on differences and challenges in communication. used a mixed-method design explain thoroughly explore the issue. The ability of prospective teacher students to master chemistry material will influence the achievement learning objectives. Alkenes are an important sub in organic courses because alkenes often used as basic ingredients chemical reactions. This research aims analyze Untan education students' understanding alkene materials. method is quantitative descriptive. sample consisted 50 students. instrument was Three-Tier Multiple Choice with a total 10 questions and semi-structured interview. Before using instrument, validity reliability test carried out first. analysis results who understand concept well only 28.06%, 6.06% but not sure, while percentage do 40.21%, 29.95% experience misconceptions.

Students' Instructional Delivery Approach Preference for Sustainable Learning Amidst the Emergence of Hybrid Teaching Post the Pandemic DOI Open Access

On return to campus after the pandemic, students were subjected receiving lectures online, in class, or by emerging hybrid approach. This study reports students' preference over three approaches based on experience gained during 2022/23 academic session. One hundred and twenty-seven (127) on-campus Education one public university Malaysia participated study. Data was collected through an online forum interviews with participants. The data analyzed using content thematic analysis. Preference for approach emerged as a finding themes describing what makes wholly class unpopular (themes two); and, popularity of (theme three): 1. On-campus learner-environment challenges; 2. Perceived lack Faculty engagement support learning environment; 3. Student faculty presence technology innovation. What valued most is face-to-face technology-enhanced classroom interaction that retained, believing more effective interesting than online. The hybrid learning integrated remote laboratory, an innovation in educational technology, is a practical and real-time solution that allows students to access interact with laboratory equipment remotely via the internet network. Technology in the learning process can improve education more effectively. This study aims to describe feasibility of media and understanding concept padlet on regular circular motion material. type research is development using ADDIE model.
