Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, students increasingly used online platforms with webcams, leading to a phenomenon known as Zoom dysmorphia, where users felt discomfort regarding their appearance. This study aimed explore how students' self-efficacy and dysmorphic concern influence zoom dysmorphia. cross-sectional correlational was conducted in 2021–2022 at Jahrom University of Medical Sciences, IRAN. The employed three questionnaires: dysmorphia (31-items), Self-efficacy (17-items), Dysmorphic Concern (7-items). Data collection done using an questionnaire, sample size estimated 250 based on Cochran's formula. Questionnaires were sent through emails randomly stratified across different faculties. data analyzed IBM SPSS Statistics (Version 24), utilizing one-sample t-tests, independent groups ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, linear regression techniques. Out questionnaires distributed, 179 participants completed them fully. overall mean score for Dysmorphia 65.93 ± 24.82, indicating moderate level. Students exhibited level (57.70 11.75), while had 6.26 9.74, lower than cut-off point. strongest correlations total its subscales found metacognitive control strategies (r = 0.95), Coalition thought 0.91), positive negative beliefs 0.89), Safety behaviors 0.77). reducing effect predictor 0.26), correlation increasing 0.74). Adolescence is a critical period during which there concerning rise in the incidence of mental health problems, including depression and body dysmorphic concerns symptoms, as well addictive behaviors such problematic social media use. The objective this research to examine role mediator between use concerns. This study used cross-sectional design recruited total 336 Lebanese adolescents, aged 15 18, with an average age 15.69 ± 1.10 years 63.4% them being female, from all governorates Lebanon months December 2023 January 2024. statistical analysis was performed utilizing version 25 SPSS program. Two categorical variables were compared using Chi-square test, two means examined Student t test. Model 4 PROCESS MACRO, add-on for SPSS, utilized conduct mediation analysis.
