innovative

paradigm
seeking
ACH
model.The
pathway
emphasizes

professional
development

including

quality
improvement,

operations,

healthy
policy
alignment
organizations,
medical
education.This
novel
provides
optimizing
preparedness

complex
environment
while
addressing
workforce

Implementation
science
focuses
on
enhancing

widespread
uptake
of
evidence-based
interventions
into
routine
practice
to
improve
population
health.

optimizing
implementation

sociopolitical
processes
(e.g.,
colonization,
structural
racism)

sociocultural

cultures

review

perspectives

Objective:
African
Americans
(AAs)
carry
the
largest
burden
for
almost
every
type
of
cancer
in
US
and
are
also
more
likely
to
die
from
cancer.
Approximately
10%
cancers
can
be
explained
by
a
hereditary
factor
detected
earlier.
Many
AAs,
however,
have
inequitable
access
risk
assessment
(HCRA)
tools

disparities

communication
strategies

community-based
HCRA
