Background: Childhood and adolescent overweight obesity represent significant global health concerns. The primary objective of this study was to assess the prevalence associations some potential risk factors with among Croatian adolescents aged 15 18. The object of the study was to identify relationship between motivation for physical activity, activity index (PAI), and body mass (BMI) a sample university students, taking into consideration gender difference. subjects were 813 (340 men 473 women), age range participants varied 18 25 years. RM 4-FM (Motivation Physical Activity Exercise) PAI online questionnaires applied measure level. study’s novelty focused on analyzing how intrinsic extrinsic interact correlate BMI levels (PAI). Regarding gender, we approached identification motivational differences level students from non-sports faculties relevant aspects promoting proactive behaviors. Results revealed significant differences: had higher (53.48 ± 28.11) than women (36.67 23.92, p < 0.01); (23.25 vs. 21.69, 0.01).
