Abstract The anthropogenic load on natural environment has reached a level that threatens the population health. main causes of water sources pollution are discharge untreated or insufficiently treated wastewaters by industrial enterprises. These and other reasons lead to spread various types diseases among population. A cause-and-effect relationship between qualitative quantitative state surface waters Samara River certain living in Western Donbas region been established. method statistical analysis based Pearson correlation applied. Reliable pollutants content increase investigated territory proven. With high degree probability, following closely related quality: blood, hematopoietic organs disorders immune system; endocrine system, digestive metabolic disorders; circulatory system digestion diseases; skin subcutaneous tissues. obtained results indicate need for further research taking into consideration regional specificity conditions factors environmental pollution, development advanced treatment reduce morbidity rate

Urban environment carries complex land-use and land cover (LULC), similarly Karachi as a metropolitan have multifaceted LULC compact infrastructure. This study seeks to assess the impact of infrastructure urban at mega city Pakistan. Approximately, fifteen different locations with surroundings were evaluated based on studied variables surrounding such temperature, humidity, formaldehyde (HCHO), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) pollution, fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in air i.e., quality, maximum noise pollution minimum investigated. The readings been collected through relevant instruments results generated interpolation ArcMap 10.8. obtained revealed that physical factors affect temperature humidity conditions area. While environmental depends surroundings, e.g. industrial effects i.e. 180 recorded region Korangi, while construction sites are catalysts highest North-Nazimabad. Cancer causing substance, found along petrol pumps, airports transportation junctions ranges up 0.99 ppm near Jinnah International airport mass transit location Shahrah e Faisal. compound has Malir catchment area, 0.4 mg/m3. lifestyle Karachiites need be transform there is dire think about mental concord citizens metropolitan. Similarly, government should play some positive actions introduced green friendly technology control pollution.

The issue of the land degradation vulnerability index (LDVI) is multifaceted, encompassing climate, soil, vegetation, policy formulation, and human actions. In Vietnam, convergence climatic fluctuations impact results in phenomena, such as soil sealing, erosion, salinization, landscape fragmentation. These phenomena are recognized significant triggers degradation. This paper seeks to present a method for assessing land's susceptibility by utilizing ten ecological 10 criteria: NDVI; slope; bulk density (cg/cm3); cation exchange capacity (CEC; mmol(c)/kg); Soil organic carbon stock (SOC; dg/kg), pH; Nitrogen (N; cg/kg); thickness (cm); surface temperature LST (0C); precipitation driest quarter (mm). research show that Song Hinh Son Hoa communes standing on most vulnerability. Some criteria considered important analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique NDVI, followed slope, nitrogen, density, thickness. study consistent with records localities often under pressure from drought. Extreme LDVI areas were larger identified low mountains, slope terrain, 200mm, expanding agricultural 40km2 total province agriculture area, grassland (20.3 km2), natural forests (17.2 plantation (8.2 residences bare (8.15 km2). Poor management practices, improper construction, inadequate water management, lack terracing, can contribute erosion assessment be applied some tropical countries. NDVI combined exploratory indicators sensitivity

Malir River which is the major seasonal river of Karachi once supported market gardening practiced in Karachi. Its valleys and plains, comprises cultivated lands vegetables fruits that fulfilled local demand. But with a shift rainfall characteristics, cultivation also started to recede slowly as many crops could not withstand prolonged drought conditions farmers were ready take risks hence abandoned cultivation. Hence, changing climate gives way industrialization rapidly growing urban center turn inducing desertification. Since land supplied water helpful evapo-transpiration leading precipitation by taking part cycle. whole process was disrupted abolition agricultural activity area. The study GIS (Geographical Information Sciences) perspective Land Use/Land Cover southern plain near its mouth – Korangi Landhi Area active flood plains during 1960s. huge urbanization population growth has led scarcity area due reduction underground aquifers agriculture, high research efficiency can be achieved using satellite imagery GIS.
