Malir River which is the major seasonal river of Karachi once supported market gardening practiced in Karachi. Its valleys and plains, comprises cultivated lands vegetables fruits that fulfilled local demand. But with a shift rainfall characteristics, cultivation also started to recede slowly as many crops could not withstand prolonged drought conditions farmers were ready take risks hence abandoned cultivation. Hence, changing climate gives way industrialization rapidly growing urban center turn inducing desertification. Since land supplied water helpful evapo-transpiration leading precipitation by taking part cycle. whole process was disrupted abolition agricultural activity area. The study GIS (Geographical Information Sciences) perspective Land Use/Land Cover southern plain near its mouth – Korangi Landhi Area active flood plains during 1960s. huge urbanization population growth has led scarcity area due reduction underground aquifers agriculture, high research efficiency can be achieved using satellite imagery GIS.

Global food security depends on sustainable water management, particularly in light of climate change and unpredictable weather. The agricultural industry uses around 70% the world's freshwater, while use efficiency is about 40% countries like India. With more than 17% population, India has to live 4% renewable water. It indicates tremendous pressure using these limited resources need focus efficient use. In this context, an alternate option for conservation utilization recycled wastewater from sewage treatment plants (STPs) agriculture. As technology STP well established India, if it clubbed with disinfection, produced reduced microbial load can be effectively utilized at STPs involves primary, secondary, tertiary treatments. recycled/treated obtained disinfected a combination chlorination, ozonation, ultraviolet, gamma irradiation. Disinfection aims reduce number microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, so used irrigation farming. generated sludge after disinfection compost. Thus, should meet specifications required infrastructure needed treating, storing, delivering reclaimed built every municipality country. addition, adopting measures installing better watering systems, selecting drought-tolerant crops, rainwater harvesting, organic farming, best practices crop rotation lead agriculture
