Aquatic
microbes,
which
are
highly
diverse
in
freshwater
biofilms,
play
a
vital
role
shaping
the
structure
and
functioning
of
ecosystems.
Nevertheless,
influence
environmental
factors
on
aquatic
microbes
different
biogeographic
ecosystems,
especially
tropical
mountains,
is
relatively
unexplored.
Here,
we
examined
relative
climate
physicochemical
beta
diversity
stream
bacteria
fungi
using
16S
rRNA
amplicon
sequencing
at
40
sites
Mt.
Kilimanjaro.
Towards
larger
elevational
distance,
total
turnover
increased
significantly,
while
nestedness
decreased.
The
showed
greater
spatial
variation
than
that
bacteria,
local
contribution
to
(LCBD)
U-shaped
pattern
for
both
taxa.
Bacteria
had
strong
positive
relationships
regarding
diversity,
LCBD
their
components,
except
nestedness,
indicating
similar
preferences
resource
overlap.
Among
variables,
mean
annual
temperature,
water
depth
elevation
predicted
microbial
depth,
temperature
precipitation
primarily
affected
LCBD.
Overall,
climate-related
variables
were
dominant
effects
more
pronounced
bacteria.
contrasting
patterns
bacterial
fungal
ecological
interactions
ecosystems
provide
rare
dataset
assessing
functions
understudied
predicting
impact
global
change
microorganisms.

Fungi
are
among
key
actors
in
the
biogeochemical
processes
occurring
mangrove
ecosystems.
In
this
study,
we
investigated
changes
of
fungal
communities
selected
species
by
exploring
differences
diversity,
structure
and
degree
ecological
rearrangement
within
rhizospheres
four
(Sonneratia
alba,
Rhizophora
mucronata,
Ceriops
tagal
Avicennia
marina)
at
Gazi
Bay
Mida
Creek
Kenya.
Alpha
diversity
investigation
revealed
that
there
were
no
significant
between
same
different
sites.
Rather,
observed
richness
for
some
species.
Chemical
parameters
sediment
significantly
correlated
with
alpha
inversely
richness.
The
community
was
differentiated
species,
geographical
location
chemical
parameters.
Taxonomic
analysis
96%
amplicon

The
study
investigated
the
influence
of
sewage
sludge
application
at
rates
0
(CK),
30
(ST),
75
(MT),
and
150
(HT)
t
ha-1
to
mudflats
on
bacterial
community
diversity
predicted
functions
using
amplicon-based
sequencing.
Soils
under
treatments,
especially
HT
treatment,
exhibited
lower
pH,
salinity
higher
nutrient
contents
(C,
N,
P).
Moreover,
restructured
communities
with
significantly
diversities
distinct
core
unique
microbiomes
were
observed
in
all
sludge-amended
soils
as
compared
control.
Specifically,
families,
such
Hyphomicrobiaceae,
Cytophagaceae,
Pirellulaceae
Microbacteriaceae,
Phyllobacteriaceae,
enriched
soils.
In
addition,
amendment
improved
functional
microbiomes,
accumulative
relative
abundances
related
carbon
nitrogen
cycling
processes
unamended
treatment.
Correlation
analyses
showed
that
modified
soil
physicochemical
properties
conducive
for
improvement
functionalities.

outcomes
demonstrated
not
only
alleviated
saline-sodic
deficiency
conditions,
but
also
versatile
functions,
which
may
be
particularly
important
