The purpose of this study was to compile research on the advantages and challenges using digital technology in clinical education for undergraduate nursing students during COVID-19 pandemic. employed an integrative literature review with use five steps as per Cooper’s framework. Data were collected from four electronic databases access articles published 2019 2023. Out 440 potential candidates, eighteen satisfied inclusion criteria. Three themes emerged analysis namely: 1) benefits 2) 3) attitudes towards learning. helps become more competent confident their ability practice a friendly environment. It is imperative that there should be opportunities workshops create awareness regarding importance technology. practical implications are institutions invest purchase equipment means advancing implementation new educational advancements. stakeholders teaching learning better equipped by health facilities make technologies.

In the modern medical education system, teaching of clinical neurology in outpatient settings is crucial for training future neurologists. Abstract Context Medical education relies on real patient learning (RPL) to provide medical students with essential clinical experience. However, growing demand for placements continues be a challenge in providing sufficient RPL opportunities. The COVID‐19 pandemic forced academic institutions rethink the delivery of traditional training and innovations online experiences, specifically livestreamed have emerged which show promise addressing capacity limitations placements. Although previous reviews explored use experiences during pandemic, there is lack rigorous theoretical framing support these innovations. Objectives aim this review two‐fold: examine effectiveness through an experience‐based (ExBL) theory perspective practical recommendations optimise implement Methods A literature was conducted identify journal articles published between September 2019 January 2023 reporting relating experiences. search focused undergraduate postgraduate but relevant evidence from other healthcare professions were also included due limited base. Strengths weaknesses derived analysed relation ExBL components. Results Principal strengths expanded access opportunities specialties, enhanced standardisation positive perceptions regarding convenience. Clinical educators found enabled teaching at scale.
