Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disease and an estrogen-dependent disease, so dietary factors that can modulate estrogen activity may be clinically important. Dietary fiber, widely distributed in vegetables fruits, closely associated with plant-based diet. Therefore, this study aims to analyze explore the relationship between fiber intake risk of endometriosis providing insights for future clinical significance treatment approaches. This cross-sectional obtained data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 1999–2006 women aged 20–54 years. A total 2840 subjects were finally included analysis, 2599 (91.51%) non-endometriosis group 241 (8.49%) group. The used fibre as exposure variable outcome variable. Through use multiple regression modelling, subgroup analyses, smoothed curve fitting, threshold effect tests, we uncovered significant link outcome. In Model 2 (Multiple equation model after adjusting all confounding variables), confounders, was negatively likelihood developing endometriosis(OR = 0.588, 95% CI 0.360–0.959, p 0.041). analyses stratified by age, race, BMI, educational level, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, interactions visualised fitted curves. study, connection observed higher decreased endometriosis.

Abstract Vitamin D is a fat-soluble steroid hormone that was initially known only for regulating calcium and phosphorus levels maintaining bone health. However, it later discovered many organs express vitamin metabolizing enzymes have ligand D, which regulates the expression of an extensive assortment genes. As result, indispensable proper function organs, its deficiency believed to be critical factor in symptoms disorders such as cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune cancers. The significance reproductive tissues recognized later, studies revealed crucial role male female fertility, well during pregnancy. has been identified risk infertility, gonadal cancers, pregnancy complications, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis. data investigating association between disorders, including endometriosis, encountered inconsistencies. Therefore, present study aims review existing research on effect function, diseases specifically focuses

Abstract Objective Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways with gender differences in prevalence after puberty. Recent studies have reported relationship between asthma and endometriosis, possibly related to immune response mechanisms, but evidences are limited inconsistent. Herein, this research aimed investigate association endometriosis based on representative population United States (U.S.) provide some reference for further exploration mechanism difference asthma. Methods In cross-sectional study, data women aged ≥ 20 years old were extracted from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) database 1999–2006. Weighted univariate multivariate logistic regression analyses utilized explore The models adjusted covariates including age, race, education level, marital status, poverty income ratio (PIR), body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, smoking, estrogen progesterone hormones use, uterine fibroids, at least one ovary removed, birth control pills intake. evaluation indexes odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Subgroup BMI, pregnancy history also performed. Results Among 5,556 eligible women, 782 had asthma, 380 endometriosis. average age participants was 37.19 old, more than half them non-Hispanic White (68.44%). After adjusting covariates, associated higher compared non-endometriosis [OR = 1.48, 95%CI: (1.10–1.99)]. This found 40–49 2.26, (1.21–4.23)], BMI 25-29.9 kg/m 2 2.87, (1.52–5.44)], 1.44, (1.01–2.06)] subgroups. Conclusion Endometriosis positive adult women. Females should take care about monitoring reduce potential risk Further still needed clarify causal

Endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent chronic inflammatory disease which causes dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility in women of childbearing age, significantly impacting their quality life physical mental health. The etiology endometriosis remains unclear, with oxidative stress inflammation currently thought to play pivotal roles its pathophysiology. Epidemiological studies clinical trials indicate that varying dietary patterns specific nutrient supplementation can influence markers levels factors related pathways, potentially the progression endometriosis. In this review, we summarize thoroughly examine current understanding effect treating This study suggests nutrients may prevent occurrence by modulating factors, regulating angiogenesis, influencing metabolism estrogen pathways. findings might provide new insights into treatment patients potential benefits

The world of science is increasingly looking for answers to the question how specific dietary components affect risk chronic diseases and assessing their potential alleviate severity individual diseases. This research concerns both assessment benefits using those nutritional models. Endometriosis, due its inflammatory nature, also a topic interest among scientists, who seek support course through proper nutrition. In endometriosis, great focused on patterns such as an anti-inflammatory diet, gluten-free low-FODMAP or Mediterranean diet. An diet primarily focuses fresh vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, whole grain products, healthy sources protein fats, including mono- polyunsaturated fatty acids, eliminating highly processed meat trans refined sugars. It believed that this type may contribute reducing endometriosis symptoms help reduce inflammation. aim review identify main trends in field diets supporting treatment last 5 years.

Endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent inflammatory disease that affects 5–10 % of reproductive-age women. About two-thirds women with endometriosis have sexual dysfunction caused by dyspareunia, which negatively the quality life and mental health a woman. The aim study to identify differences in clinical laboratory parameters groups female patients obtaining information about specifics (FSD) development endometriosis. Materials methods. examination results hormonal profile, functional index other markers were analyzed 130 active reproductive age: Group I (n = 100) – main group manifestations FSD including subgroup IA 70) external genital IB 30) alone; II healthy Results. Women combined (IA) exhibited profile different from (IB), was seen significant difference follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol, free testosterone dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate values (p 0.001, p 0.039, 0.035 0.035, respectively). Vitamin D deficiency hyperhomocysteinemia, presence antibodies thyroperoxidase hyperprolactinemia been detected all signs, regardless concomitant presence. Post-hoc analysis (Mann–Whitney test) has shown mean scores for categories Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire statistically significantly higher compared those < 0.001). Purpose: To evaluate the association between Composite Dietary Antioxidant Index (CDAI) and risk of endometriosis in American women. Methods: The study adopted a cross-sectional design, incorporating 3862 women aged over 20 years, selected from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) dataset 2001 to 2006. Six dietary antioxidants were taken into account calculating CDAI. Endometriosis was determined based on self-report. CDAI endometriosis, we employed models with multivariable logistic variables. For subgroup assessment relation CDAI, stratified multivariate regression model utilized. Results: Among all participants, 273 participants (7.1%) found exhibit endometriosis. preliminary analysis showed reverse likelihood (odds ratio [OR] = 0.95; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.92~0.98). Upon full adjustment within regression, ORs (95% CI) for prevalence per unit increase estimated be 0.96 (0.93~1). When levels divided quartiles, it that Q2 (− 2.131– 0.023), Q3 (0.023– 2.650), Q4 (2.650– 42.854) 0.74 (0.52, 1.05), 0.76 (0.53, 1.1), 0.53 (0.36, 0.79), respectively, compared those Q1 7.151–− 2.131). We evaluated using subgroups by age, race/ethnicity, education level, body mass index (BMI), oral contraceptive, menopausal status, revealing substantial negative relationship. Conclusion: In this study, increasing proportionally associated reduced among women, suggesting diet high may play an important role reducing findings NHANES data spanning 2006 suggest promoting antioxidant-rich diets could prevention strategy Keywords: composite antioxidant index, Survey,
