The objective of this study is to examine the impact technology use on academic achievement in music education and training through meta-analysis. To end, a comprehensive literature review was conducted effects achievement. Keywords were used for these reviews (music education, teaching ICT, technology, etc.). A following databases searches: ERIC, Scopus, Web Science, Springer Link, Taylor & Francis, ProQuest Dissertations Theses Global, Sage Journals, Google Scholar. data obtained from studies first placed an Excel sheet by creating coding form. meta-analysis software study. method employed meta-analysis, which calculate purpose re-examine findings evaluating same subject together. In process, 31 (articles doctoral dissertations) published between 2013 2023 included. results indicated that incorporation has positive average effect size found be d=0.525, according random model. Additionally, analysis revealed varies depending several factors, including year, publication type, participant, sample. evaluations yielded highest values 2021 (0.375), articles (0.561), students (0.946), Others (0.497), 1-75 people (0.911). Based findings, recommendations made expand number pre-service teachers conduct across various categories related studies.

The terms ‘Digital competence’ or ‘Professional digital are frequently used, yet their understanding remains varied and elusive. Moreover, existing research in education heavily focuses on the study of competence among students, with comparatively limited attention given to teachers. In this study, we aim investigate primary music teachers’ perspectives ‘professional Spain. This entails conceptualizations (1) term itself, (2) cultivation related skills (3) its practical application students. Additionally, seek compare viewpoints those teachers from other subjects. Through a qualitative multi-case involving purposeful sampling 20 participants, results suggest that our teachers, regardless self-stated technological skills, possess express negative pessimistic beliefs towards development implementation. Furthermore, they feel compelled use educational technology despite reservations.
