This study explores the experiences of expatriate academics at US and UK offshore campuses in mainland China, focusing on factors influencing job satisfaction relating to organizational support. Utilizing a General Inductive Qualitative Model, data were collected through 33 semi-structured interviews with individual faculty members. Key findings reveal that while enjoy opportunities such as professional development, challenges administrative restrictions, censorship, difficulties heightened end COVID-19 pandemic significantly impact satisfaction. The highlights need for policymakers develop supportive frameworks promote academic freedom, equitable treatment, enhanced collaboration communication academics. These insights contribute deeper understanding transnational education, particularly context growing international programs suggest avenues future research.
