Abstract Food chemical and microbiological contamination are major global food safety issues. This study investigated the combined effects of food‐borne pathogen Helicobacter pylori ( H. ) pollutant benzo(a)pyrene (Bap) on atrophic gastritis gut microbiota in Mongolian gerbils. The results demonstrated that simultaneous administration Bap caused more severe weight loss, DNA damage, gerbils compared with those exposed to or alone. combination also significantly increased serum level proinflammatory cytokines, including IL‐1β p < .05), IL‐6 .0001), TNF‐α .05). Additionally, altered composition gerbils: relative abundance Lactobacillus Ligilactobacillus at genus .05) was reduced while Allobaculum Erysipelotrichaceae enhanced .0001, Our revealed synergy can boost development lead dysbiosis gerbils, which provides essential implications for preventing contaminated foods sustain life promote well‐being.

Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is an important stage of precancerous lesions gastric cancer. Effective treatment and regulation CAG are essential to prevent its progression malignancy. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has shown multi-targeted efficacy in treatment, with advantages enhancing mucosal barrier defense, improving microcirculation, modulating inflammatory immune responses, promoting lesion healing, etc. Clinical studies meta-analyses indicate that TCM provides significant benefits, specific herbal compounds monomers demonstrating protective effects on the mucosa through mechanisms including anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, cellular proliferation apoptosis, Finally, it pointed out requires standardized research unified standards, constantly clarifies improves evaluation criteria each dimension function.

Abstract Gastric mucosal samples were procured and underwent the sequencing of 16S ribosomal RNA (16S rRNA) via Illumina high-throughput technology to explore impact Helicobacter pylori ( H. ) infection on composition gastric flora in chronic gastritis (CG) patients. In results, operational taxonomic unit (OTU) analysis revealed an overlap 5706 OTUs shared between two groups. The top 5 abundance ranking (TOP5) phyla comprised Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, Actinobacteria, Epsilonbacteraeota, while TOP5 genus was Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group , Bacteroides Klebsiella Pseudomonas . metabolic pathways at Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG)_L3 level, conspicuous variations across seven functions observed -positive (HP_Pos) -negative (HP_Neg) Subsequently, functional gene enrichment KEGG further validated through animal experimentation. contrast mice HP_Neg group, those infected with manifested infiltration inflammatory cells, augmentation acid secretion, conspicuously elevated scores regarding activity, along heightened levels malondialdehyde. conclusion, CG patients displayed a disorder flora, furnishing theoretical basis for prophylaxis its associated pathogenic ramifications.
