Objective: This manuscript assesses how media monitoring can guide the tailoring of public health communications for adolescents, older adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals, addressing their unique mental challenges. Design: The study employed a thematic analysis publicly available digital social data. Setting: Research was conducted using platforms, with focus on conversations relevant to specific groups within United States. Participants: dataset included millions posts issues among communities, collected over one-year period. Main Outcome Measures: Key themes patterns discussions were identified. Results: Discussions around “youth crisis” prominent, 25% adolescent-related reflecting this sentiment, often highlighting impact academic pressures. For loneliness financial struggles recurrent, showing lack practical support resources. In conversations, there an emphasis challenges discrimination identity-related misconceptions, 28% mentions relating crises involving suicide or self-harm. These underscored critical need inclusive affirmative tailored faced by these groups. Conclusions: Media provides essential insights that improve messaging identifying trending sentiments. Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic has faced students with many challenges, contributing to their mental distress. This article explores the role of demographic characteristics, psychological status, year study, and social support during in explaining Slovenian university students’ health problems help-seeking behavior. Methods In February March 2021, data were collected on 5,234 full-time postsecondary who enrolled public concessionary independent higher education institutions. Participants completed a questionnaire, which included Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), General Anxiety Disorder questionnaire (GAD-7), Oslo Social Support Scale (OSSS-3), items measuring behavior demographics. Data analyzed using multiple linear regression hypothesis testing for differences. Results Factors, such as gender, age, status support, contributed experiencing anxiety depression among pandemic, study additionally depression. Similarly, Higher levels reported by female students, prior disorders, lower levels. Female more frequent behaviors. Conclusion results provide insight into state student population context imposed measures at end second wave Slovenia. findings can help identify vulnerable groups within whom we must be particularly attentive times crisis.
