Decent Work, Employee Satisfaction, and the Mediating Role of Social Courage in Reducing Turnover

This
study
investigates
the
relationships
between
decent
work,
job
satisfaction,
workplace
social
courage,
and
intent
to
quit
among
career
counselors
in
Turkiye’s
IT
sector
employment
agency.
The
research
data
was
obtained
from
408
at
an
agency
Turkiye.
Partial
least
squares-based
structural
equation
modeling
used
test
hypothesized
relationships.
findings
reveal
a
significant
positive
influence
of
work
on
satisfaction.

satisfaction

with

Abstract
The
dynamic
nature
of
security
risks
confronting
the
global
aviation
industry
necessitates
a
deeper
understanding
factors
influencing
job-crafting
behaviors
among
airport
officers.
Grounded
in
Job
Demands-Resources
model,
this
study
aims
to
investigate
impact
perceived
organizational
support,
work
engagement,
and
social
courage
(SC)
on
job
crafting
Data
were
collected
from
379
officers
at
Antalya
Airport,
Turkey’s
busiest
airport,
through
face-to-face
surveys
conducted
between
January
December
2022.
findings
indicate
that
support
positively
influences
crafting,
with
engagement
mediating
relationship.
Furthermore,
SC
moderates
both
relationship
strength
effect
crafting.
This
addresses
gaps
literature
by
providing
detailed
framework
illustrates
how
non-Western
context.
