Sepsis can lead to myocardial depression, playing a significant role in sepsis pathophysiology, clinical care, and outcome. To gain more insight into the pathophysiology of response sepsis, we investigated expression microRNA autopsy specimens critically ill deceased with non-septic controls. In this retrospective observational study, obtained tissue samples collected during from adult patients (n = 15) for routine histological examination. We control medicolegal autopsies cadavers whose cause death was injury or who were found dead at home coronary artery disease sudden cardiac arrest. RNA isolated formalin-fixed paraffin- embedded (FFPE) using RecoverAll Total Nucleic Acid Isolation Kit FFPE (Invitrogen). Differentially expressed miRNAs identified edgeR v3.32. MicroRNA considered up- down-regulated if false discovery rate < 0.05 logarithmic fold change (log2FC) ≥ 1 up-regulated log2FC ≤ -1 miRNAs. The mean difference 95% confidence interval (CI) calculated normalized read counts. Predicted miRNA targets retrieved Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) software, pathway enrichment classification performed PantherDB. For – mRNA interaction analysis, differentially genes analyzed by 3`mRNA sequencing. Differential analysis total 32 specimens. Eight had based on CI, largest increase counts septic hsa-miR-12136 highest hsa-miR-146b-5p. threshold compared controls hsa-miR-144-5p hsa-miR-451a, latter having decrease decrease. eight target also hearts. number potential hsa-miR-363-3p.
