Abstract In recent years, the addition of nanometer materials to concrete has attracted a group increasing number scholars’ research interests, and nano-SiO 2 is one hotspots. this paper, we briefly introduce influence on setting time, slump, shrinkage, durability mechanical properties concrete. addition, review also includes microstructure measured by scanning electron microscope (SEM) content various hydration products obtained X-ray diffraction (XRD). The result shows that time shortened, slump reduced shrinkage improved owing high activity nucleation . improvement effect remarkable, especially in aspect enhancing It should be noted limited end, literature summary explains macro performance nano-silica modified through microstructure.

Currently, non-renewable resources are heavily consumed, leading to increased global warming resulting from the production of carbon dioxide etc., phase change materials (PCMs) regarded as a solution mitigate these crises attributed their promising thermal energy storage capability. In this critical review, properties different encapsulation methods PCMs summarised and compared. Encapsulation ensures that used safely efficiently, therefore method needs be thoroughly investigated improved before practical implementation. The applicable for techniques such particle diameter, enthalpy, efficiency cycling times reviewed. Future researchers advised measure report conductivities, displaying them in convenient manner; many studies ignore parameter, hindering research progression. Evaluation criteria mechanical should developed enable comparisons between studies. It is suggested eutectic metallic PCMs, sol-gel methods, complex coacervation spray drying areas can further better microcapsule performance, higher yield, synthesis conditions. future, bifunctional microcapsules, copolymer encapsulation, doped high-performance highly developments when compared with current monofunctional capsules pure polymer shells.

Cobalt-doped zinc ferrite is a contemporary material with significant structural and magnetic characteristics. Our study explores the properties of cobalt-substituted (ZnxCo1–xFe2O4), synthesized via simple sol–gel method. By varying cobalt ratio from 0 to 0.5, we found that substitution impacts both magnetization lattice parameters. FTIR analysis suggested presence functional groups, particularly depicting an M–O stretching band, within octahedral tetrahedral clusters. X-ray diffraction confirmed phase purity cubic structure. The materials exhibited average particle size 24–75 nm. Scanning electron microscopy revealed morphological properties, confirming formation truncated particles. In order determine stability, mass loss (%), thermal behavior, (thermogravimetric (TGA)/differential (DTA)) was performed. ferrites were vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Finally, highest saturated lowest coercivity values observed higher concentrations dopant substituting zinc. nanomaterials have good stability as compared other such can be used for in near future.
