Abstract Since there is rapid geopark development, geotourism as sustainable tourism getting popular in many regions Indonesia. The development of based on geological heritage and mining an alternative for managing mined land. This because some the geoparks were originally areas. aim research to study potential three namely Sawahlunto, Pongkor, one UNESCO Global Geopark Belitung. Mining industries have important role economic Indonesia such a source national local income, however, negative impact land change considerably. Developing area approach post program. To reach goal, mapping carried out, well qualitative quantitative assessment result will become useful information developing post-mining use. option use beneficial since frequently plan implement mine closure. terms conservation be best options programs. Nevertheless, we need carefully assess management complicated. preliminary shows possibility heritage.

The objective of this study is to examine the evolution Ecotourism on Geoheritage through bibliometric analysis. Total 53 papers pertaining exclusively domain Geoheritage, spanning from 2008 2022, were gathered Scopus database. This examines core aspects and features in academic research. It employs topic analysis, concurrence timeline analysis author keywords investigate factors such as annual publication contribution, popularity, focus. Furthermore, incorporates many productive entities, including journals, authors, institutions, countries, regions, mapping significant collaboration links. These elements are utilized determine level attention received by different entities field citation structure authors journals provides a detailed burst detection cited references. Ultimately, findings will be integrated with present financial circumstances delve further into future development obstacles prospects. reveals consistent rise yearly publications, notable shift emphasis towards inclusion, prevailing presence Australia, growing number international collaborations publications diverse sources. indicate that dynamic holds promise for scientific advancement. Hence, exhaustive document not only course existing research but also assists researchers identifying appropriate starting point conducting thorough investigations.

Since their creation, geoparks have been among the fastest growing natural environments. Their attractiveness is one of most important factors for success this destination. Despite importance, a bibliometric analysis on geopark missing from studied databases. The aim paper to synthesise heterogeneous body knowledge in terms attractiveness, highlighting evolution and breadth research field. To achieve this, following objectives were set: (a) adopt method based functions provided by bibliometrix package automatically combine databases, namely WoS, Scopus, PubMed Dimensions, detailing used (b) analyse indicators order identify trends literature possible directions future research. applied methodology was using R non-coders. From 707 documents retrieved, validation process resulted 349 eligible published between 2002 2024, which carried out. current study elaborated examined key information topic trends, given production performance, productivity spatial abstract approach analysis. Additionally, strategic mapping conceptual context performed. Thus, result provides description automatic with practical applications. As discerned three-dimensional (spatial, temporal size), emerging within scientific creativity encompassed (1) forms tourism practiced geoparks, especially focused ecotourism volcanic tourism; (2) geomorphological features, mineral springs mud volcanoes; (3) aesthetic aspects, scenic sites mining heritage; (4) methodology, data modelling methods across different regions countries.
