Cultural tourism represents a significant sector with considerable economic and educational benefits for both domestic international visitors. Despite its intersection various disciplines, the integration of performing arts within this domain remains underexplored. This mini-review employs PRISMA methodology to systematically analyze data retrieved from Scopus database, providing structured insight into existing literature. The findings reveal that while are acknowledged as component cultural tourism, their potential impact is not extensively documented. Nevertheless, review identifies three core conceptual themes—sustainability, adaptability, authenticity—that essential understanding role in enhancing experience. These themes suggest framework future research strategic development initiatives harness transformative power arts.

Purpose This retrospective phenomenological case study examines the experiences of 18 politicians who participated in a political campaign using performing arts and artists regional heads legislators Indonesia. Also, role Gandrung art as is becoming communication tool for actors Design/methodology/approach employs case. The informants recruited were have local, national levels. participants interviewed about their campaigning traditional form communication. Data collection techniques used this include interviews photo documentation during process to triangulate findings. Findings Based on analysis through thematic analysis, research reveals three emerging themes which indicate that function tools significant ways: (1) artistic expression conveying messages movement use dancer costumes; (2) medium showcasing cultural identity representation concern local culture voters; (3) means garner mass appeal propagate propaganda. Research limitations/implications has two limitations. First, only small number participants. Thus, generalization wider contexts not possible. Second, focuses examining voice analyzing it analysis.
