<p>The research is aimed at clarifying and comparing the influence of role play project-based learning on development social competence in older preschoolers. The paper presents materials pilot phase study. 30 preschoolers aged 5-6 years (average age 5.8 years) participated experiment. At pre-test children’s executive functions were assessed using NEPSY-II subtests ther was SCBE-30 test, which includes scales "Social Competence", "Anxiety-detachment", "Anger-aggression". Further, participants distributed to three experimental conditions so that each group there an equal number with low high levels according cluster analysis. In 12 meetings held accordance developed programs: Free play, Research project, Creative project. After completing programs children's tested similar initial diagnostics. results showed a level had stronger decrease anxiety free than project activities. same time, children greater when participating Role equally influenced competence. clarify expand possibilities described activities for kindergartens.</p>
