Distress in online classrooms and problematic internet use are two issues that have caused student burnout affect perceived learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Given high pressure placed on students throughout COVID-19, it is critical to understand influence of (PIU), psychological stress, academic burnout, resilience (PL). A cross-sectional analytical study was chosen collect data from 350 learners pursuing undergraduate postgraduate business/management degrees Karnataka, India. The were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) Smart PLS 3. present reports a non-significant negative total effect stress PL, while there significant positive direct but indirect multiple mediators, namely PIU, resilience. In relationship between has full competitive mediation, suppressive wipes out beneficial benefit resulting reduced PL. As societal problem, change educational policy prevention strategies organizations (reducing number courses, exams, handling parental expectations) would be effective. Emotional intelligence improve resilience, which assists sailing through current challenging situation IT reducing unexpected emotional outbursts should encouraged.

The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed our lives. By increased screen time during the pandemic, social media (SM) could have significantly impacted adolescents’ and students’ mental health (MH). This literature review aims to synthesize research on impact of SM usage MH adolescents students first year pandemic. A published was conducted in April 2021, through a search PubMed Web Science Core Collection databases. yielded 1136 records, with 13 articles selected for this review. Most included studies observed negative use students, most noticeably were anxiety, depression stress. More active prolonged associated students. Two recorded some potentially positive effects, such as support coping providing sense connection those who isolated due distancing measures. Since focuses early period future should investigate long-term MH, all relevant elements that can enable adequate public response.

The association between excessive use of Social Networking Sites (SNS) and mental health is raising serious concern among education professionals. Problematic SNS has been associated with an increased rate depression, anxiety, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD), propensity to alcohol use.
