Background . Even though mild cognitive impairments are common in patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), there no studies of morphometric brain parameters children ADHD and comorbid impairments. Objective. The aim the study is to determine perform comparative analysis MR-morphometric depending on presence or absence Methods. Participants aged from 7 8 years without pathology (CP), impairment (MCI), MCI ADHD, healthy children. All participants underwent magnetic resonance imaging followed by morphometry obtain quantitative large structures, cerebral cortex gyri, basal ganglia, cerebellum, lateral ventricles. Results 90 were examined. group has shown significant decrease volumes caudate nuclei bilaterally hippocampus right, as well right superior parietal gyrus, supramarginal frontal cortex. CP different changes: volume putamen both sides thalamus left, increase six four thinning gyri thickening one cerebellar lobules. bilateral enlargement ventricles, pallidum seven cortex, mostly side, Direct comparison between two groups differences up lower total 5 left hemisphere group. compared individuals did not show any age-related dynamic Conclusion. characterized parallel pathogenetic processes: hypoplasia delayed changes other areas. Significant revealed MCI. It suggests individual treatment for such revision approaches ADHD. Enlargement ventricles may indicate effect perinatal these conditions’ etiology.
