Pleurotus ostreatus (oyster mushroom) holds excellent promise worldwide, bringing several opportunities and augmenting the tool sets used in biotechnology field, food industry, medicine. Our study explores antimicrobial probiotic growth stimulation benefits of freeze-dried P. powders (OMP-TF, oyster mushroom powder from total fresh sample; OMP-CSR, cooked solid residue; OMP-CL, liquid), focusing on their bioactive compounds associated activities. research examined polysaccharide fractions—specifically glucans α- β-glucans—alongside secondary metabolites, including polyphenols flavonoids, powders. Additionally, carbon nanodots (CNDs) were also characterized. The inhibition was tested against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus epidermidis, while capacity for stimulating evaluated using Lactobacillus plantarum casei. Evidence indicates that OMP-CL OMP-CSR exhibit significant properties S. epidermidis Gram-positive bacteria. notably promoted L. containing most number CNDs, has shown to be a valuable source gut microbiota modulation, with its probiotic-stimulating efficacy. However, further vitro vivo studies should performed explore CNDs behavior different biological systems.
