Background: As individuals age, they may develop Alzheimer's disease (AD), which is characterized by difficulties in speech, memory loss, and other issues related to neural function. Cycloastragenol an active ingredient of Astragalus trojanus has been used treat inflammation, aging, heart disease, cancer. Objectives: This study aimed explore the potential therapeutic benefits cycloastragenol rats with experimentally induced AD. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a prevalent form of primary liver cancer with 5-year survival rate just 18%. Ferulic acid, natural compound found in fruits and vegetables such as sweet corn, rice bran, dong quai, an encouraging drug known for its diverse positive effects on the body, including anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, neuroprotective properties. Our study aimed to investigate potential antitumor ferulic acid inhibit tumor growth inflammation HCC rats. was induced rats by administering thioacetamide. Additionally, some were given 50 mg/kg three times week 16 weeks. Liver function assessed measuring serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) examining hepatic tissue sections stained hematoxylin/eosin or anti-hypoxia factor-1α (HIF-1α). The mRNA protein levels HIF-1α, nuclear factor κB (NFκB), necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR), signal transducer activator transcription 3 (STAT3), cMyc, cyclin D1 examined. results showed that increased rats' reducing AFP suppressing nodules. Furthermore, ameliorated appearance vacuolated cytoplasm HCC, reduced apoptotic nuclei, necrotic Finally, decreased expression NFκB, TNF-α, mTOR, STAT3, D1.
