This study examines the impact of an integrated teaching approach, combining ChatGPT and traditional methods, on geometric understanding in third-grade students (ages 9-10). Grounded Piaget’s Van Hiele’s theories, research involved 436 from Attica, Greece, divided into experimental group a control group, 218 each. Performance assessments focused symmetry plane shapes, alongside evaluations Anxiety Levels, Learning Styles, Cognitive Executive Functions. Results indicate that outperformed reasoning, demonstrating improved application properties. Correlations between anxiety levels cognitive styles suggest tailored strategies enhance engagement comprehension. Statistical analyses confirmed effectiveness method, highlighting its meaningful students’ learning outcomes. contributes to literature effective pedagogical for young learners, emphasizing importance aligning methods with development. The findings integrating technology education can promote deeper geometry, implications future instructional practices mathematics education.
