Religious character is one of the important characteristics to be developed, especially for students in era globalization. In fact, some educational institutions, there no particular curriculum support purpose this study examine depth implementation Islamic Approach-based as a medium strengthen religious boarding school madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The samples were taken from Tulungagung and Ponorogo. This research case with data sources form learning processes informants consisting teachers. Data collected by observation in-depth interviews teachers, ustaz/ustazah, sample consisted 5 teachers 20 each school. results showed that develop character, discipline, responsibility. Boarding School implemented programs, both curricular extracurricular. integration national hidden institution makes education process maximized. Implemented programs such praying before starting learning, saying greetings, asking ridho teacher/ustaz development. habit arriving on time, cultivating queuing, utilizing free time student discipline. For development responsibility, picket program reward punishment system. addition, good coordination between ustaz, dormitory caregivers, foundation determining effective order character.
