Some of the most common oral disorders are periodontal disease. Variation in hematological parameters chronic periodontitis patients could affect type treatment and its overall outcomes. Comparing evaluating people with general population was aim this study. 100 individuals (Group I) clinically good health participated study II). Hemoglobin (Hb), random blood sugar (RBS), bleeding time (BT), clotting (CT) were evaluated compared between two groups. In contrast to (8.934 ± 2.0), healthy patients, mean Hb concentrations found be higher (13.435 1.8). comparison (98.98 25.42), had a value for RBS (112.14 47.5). (BT = 2.654 13.36, CT 6.057 0.267), shorter BT 0.301 0.07, 2.84 0.6058). Hematological factors population's discovered significantly associated (P 0.001). Within constraints continuing investigation, it shown that among periodontitis, levels, BT, reduced, while glucose levels increased.

AIM: This systematic review aims to analyze the microbiological similarities and differences between diseased periodontal peri-implant sulci based on available literature evidence. MATERIALS AND METHODOLOGY: A comprehensive search was done in electronic databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane hand made pre-determined eligibility criteria. Studies assessing microbial profile obtained from biofilm samples collected were selected after through screening. RESULTS: The 8 studies evaluated periodontitis peri-implantitis. Five found a statistically significant variation peri-implantitis, while one study no changes microbiology of inflammatory sites. In two situ studies, structure transcription level core species co-occurrence network different whereas other that diseases differed terms 16S rRNA-based taxonomic profiles but similar functional genes, virulence factor mRNA profiles. CONCLUSION: According existing composition observed. Hence, peri-implantitis have diverse characteristics.

Periodontal diseases are chronic that affect the surrounding tissues of teeth and alveolar bone. As disease progresses, it can lead to tooth loss. Several risk factors may increase periodontal disease. The objective study was assess independent variables among few Southern population India. current done on 155 patients who visited Saveetha Dental College Hospitals. Data demographic details (age, gender, educational status) status (clinically healthy gingiva, gingivitis, periodontitis) were recorded. parameters associated using Chi-square test (SPSS Software, Version 23.0). 20-30-year-old mostly affected with gingivitis (25.8%) 51-60-year-old periodontitis (22.58%). This showed statistical significance (

This systematic review assesses the microbiological similarities and differences between healthy diseased peri-implant sulci based on available literature evidence. A thorough electronic search was conducted in databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Cochrane; a manual employing eligibility criteria well. After comprehensive review, studies evaluating microbial profile obtained from biofilm samples were chosen. Ten articles compared profiles of failing implants. statistically significant variation observed, with predominating Gram-negative, anaerobic organisms at both genus species level sulci. Also, red complex (P. gingivalis, T. forsythia, P. intermedia) predominated According to existing studies, peri-implantitis is characterized by diverse community that includes obligate Gram-negative bacteria denticola, intermedia. research will pave way for further assessing specific bacterial flora sulci, which help developing treatment targets peri-implantitis.
