This research aims to explore the innovation of culture-based education as an effort build children's character in context educational tourism destinations. Against background multi-dimensional crisis faced by nation, learning culture becomes very strategic revive patriotism and maintain cultural diversity. method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through literature studies, Field observation destinations how interaction between learners environment takes place, interview with policy makers community leaders. The findings highlighted need for serious efforts storing, preserving, resurfacing scattered data, especially related oral traditions, manuscripts, customs, rites, traditional knowledge, technology, arts, languages, folk games, sports. results reflect focus on strengthening governance local well empower communities source foreign exchange. In addition, challenges saving technologies, arts games that are danger fading away. conclusion emphasizes urgency promoting culture, literature, preserving historical traces integral part building efforts. Thus, understanding love values can be passed younger generation, awareness national identity, preventing loss amid globalization.
