Career guidance programs are increasingly recognized as essential tools for equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate future employment landscapes. The article addresses the decision-making process of career choice among high-school students and emphasizes importance supporting their informed decisions by trained teachers acting as career-guidance counselors. While, ideally, school counselors handle counseling, limited availability necessitates involvement other resources, such teachers. present study introduces a training program for teachers, implemented with 20 Romanian Serbian research conducted simultaneously aimed to assess effectiveness this cross-national in enhancing teachers’ competence guidance. Utilizing longitudinal mixed methodology, assessed perceptions training’s sustainability over period 24 months.
