Abstract Global energy demand rises with population and economic growth. In Bangladesh, the fossil fuel-dependent grid fails to reach coastal areas, so solar home systems (SHSs) provide viable off-grid electrification, though their usage challenges remain understudied. this study, we utilized a questionnaire survey at household level, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Key Informant Interviews (KII) stakeholders assess utilization of energy, examine influence SHS on households’ activities, explore in six sub-districts Bangladesh. Results reveal that 100% households studied region rely for basic lighting, underscoring universal need fundamental service. Access electricity significantly enhanced social safety, disaster preparedness living standard across sub-districts. The had positive households' activities. Notably, 83% users reported an improvement well-being, leading new ventures, including tailoring enterprises (58% users), poultry farming (42%). Adverse weather conditions (frequent foggy weather), negatively affected performance, 68–88% reported. Concerns about environmental consequences were raised by 84% respondents Cox’s Bazar 21% Noakhali. To address challenges, employ various strategies prioritizing essential appliances, reducing working hours night, using alternative sources overcome these obstacles. study findings practical insights policymakers, firms, NGOs involved promoting green initiatives underserved populations. By building partnerships between local governments, microfinance institutions, community members, policies can be tailored barriers such as affordability accessibility, ultimately greater adoption other renewable solutions.

Crop water is a critical input in any farming systems across the globe, especially developing countries South Asia where appropriate management remains major challenge such as case of Bangladesh. This review also aimed at describing changes status and perspective irrigation shift resource base from surface to groundwater early 1980s paved way ensure food self-sufficiency, feat country accomplished 1990s. But with increased use sources there have been some questions on sustainability this source, has seen back better techniques practices like micro-irrigation, drips auto irrigation. paper aims global irrigation, practicing contrast between gravity irrigators pressurized irrigators, besides focusing opportunities risks drip arid zones. It reviews issues confronted by Bangladesh climate change, sector problem, saving system. The discoveries advise that smart technologies should be included for efficiency so productivity not checked coming future. With regards this, it hope pinpoint areas enhanced support policy practice enhancement resources well meeting needs agricultural
