he present study was conducted to quantify the heavy metals cadmium, lead, copper, chromium, nickel, and zinc in bivalve mollusk concha prieta (Anadara tuberculosa) using in- ductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES). This research aims identify whether bioaccumulate content of exceeds maximum limits established by various public health bodies such as ONU, FAO, Codex Alimentarius, EEC, NHI. Samples species were collected randomly from three locations Puerto El Morro, Playas Municipal Market, La Libertad Seafood Market Gulf Guayaquil. Thirty-three soft tissue samples evaluated, values quantified mg/kg following order: Zn>Cu>Cd>Ni>Cr>Pb.
