(1) Background: Validated instruments to measure mental health variables related sanitary crises can provide data for prevention or intervention plans. The objectives of this study were: evidence the psychometric factorial internal structure Battery Assessing Mental Health–Pandemic Version (BASM-P) in sample; (2) investigate psychosocial impact COVID-19 pandemic Brazilian post-peak period among individuals with and without pre-existing psychiatric conditions using BASM-P; (3) analyze relationships between measured by BASM-P both groups. Methods: This is an internet-based quantitative, cross-sectional a non-probabilistic convenience sample. participants (n = 209) were divided into non-psychiatric group 168) 41). sociodemographic questionnaire. Data collected throughout second semester 2022 analyzed JASP software. Results: demonstrated robust structure. Significant differences observed two groups across all variables. In group, obsessive thoughts presented strong connections fear, distress, grief from job loss. (4) Conclusions: highlights central role shaping period.

Background: Traumatic events adversely affect the clinical course of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Our investigation explores correlation between prolonged interpersonal trauma and severity symptoms related to anxiety disorders. Methods: The study follows a cross-sectional observational design, employing International Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ) examine areas linked trauma, Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive (Y-BOCS) assess anxious symptoms, respectively. Descriptive analysis, analysis variance (ANOVA), logistic regression analyses were conducted. Results: We recruited 107 OCD-diagnosed patients, categorizing them into subgroups based on presence or absence complex post-traumatic stress (cPTSD). ANOVA revealed statistically significant differences two groups in onset age OCD (p=0.083), psychiatric familial history (p=0.023), HAM-A, Y-BOCS (p=0.000). Logistic indicated association cPTSD scores Conclusion: coexistence exacerbates increases burden anxiety. Further advancements this field are crucial for mitigating impact early trajectory associated symptoms.

Background: Patients with panic disorder (PD) may experience increased vulnerability to dissociative and anxious phenomena in the presence of repeated traumatic events, these be risk factors for development complex post-traumatic stress (cPTSD). The present study aims find out whether cPTSD exacerbates anxiety symptoms patients suffering from this is specifically associated occurrence symptoms. Methods: One-hundred-and-seventy-three diagnosed PD were recruited divided into two groups based on (or absence) using International Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ) scale. Dissociative assessed Cambridge Depersonalization Scale (CDS) Hamilton Anxiety (HAM-A), respectively. Results: Significant differences re-experienced PTSD (p < 0.001), avoidance hyperarousal DSO dysregulation 0.001) found between cPTSD-positive cPTSD-negative groups. A statistically significant association total scores HAM-A CDS scales was regression analysis. Conclusions: This highlights potential link a more severe clinical course anxiety-related conditions PD. Early intervention programs prevention strategies are needed.
