Emerging pollutants (EPs) encompass natural or synthetic substances in the environment that pose potential risks but have only recently been recognized monitored. EPs consist of various categories including pesticides, pharmaceuticals, hormones, mycotoxins, and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). While providing considerable societal and economic benefits, plastic packaging leads to global pollution poses health risks. Plastic additives like alkylphenols (APs) can interfere with endocrine functions even at low concentrations. Therefore, developing validating analytical methods for their routine dosage in foods is paramount.
