A significant portion of fatalities stemming from acute myocardial infarction (AMI) occur suddenly and without warning. This can be prevented through early detection coronary stenosis. In recent years, artery calcium (CAC) computed tomography angiography (CTCA) have been utilized. For instance, a 55-year-old interventional cardiologist had CAC 58 with 50% stenosis involving his left anterior descending (LAD) artery. Despite possibly having vulnerable plaque, which carries future cardiovascular events, the patient followed plant-based diet (PBD), took supplements, continued optimal medical therapy (OMT). After three there was regression in both During our discussion, we emphasized importance food selection, quantification, how is processed (raw) to achieve maximal benefit regressing atherosclerosis. Additionally, highlighted identifying possibility plaque mechanism stabilizing it. The case supported guidelines set by American College Cardiology (ACC) Heart Association (AHA) for managing chronic syndrome (CCS) emphasizing OMT lifestyle changes. We hope that future, more doctors patients will take responsibility implementing changes rather than solely relying on medications sophisticated technologies.
