Analytical instruments used for scientific research and education are often expensive. This limitation poses a challenge schools educators in low-income countries to provide practical science training students. To address this problem, the improvisation of analytical instructional materials has emerged as viable solution. By incorporating experiments into education, students have opportunity engage directly with instruments, conduct investigations, collect data. hands-on approach fosters deeper understanding principles, enhances critical thinking skills, cultivates mindsets among Herein, we review discuss, step-by-step, using smartphone quantitative analysis, referred digital image colorimetry (SDIC). SDIC, its practicality accessibility, utilizes cameras acquisition freely available processing programs, such ImageJ Apps, quantification. Using SDIC can enable develop essential including thinking, data interpretation, an evidence-based research. leveraging ubiquity affordability technology, offers accessible cost-effective bridging gap between theory practice resource-constrained settings.
